100% In-House Manufactured
Daylight Fluorescent Pigment Powder Manufacturer
Manali Pigments is a 100% in-house manufacturer of premium daylight fluorescent pigment powder, engineered to deliver maximum visibility for industrial safety, high-visibility signage and commercial applications. Control over resin synthesis, dye incorporation and precision milling supports colour intensity and batch consistency.
What Are Daylight Fluorescent Pigments?
Daylight fluorescent pigments are specialized colorants consisting of fluorescent dyes dissolved and encapsulated within a solid resin matrix. Unlike conventional organic pigments that primarily reflect visible light, daylight fluorescent pigments absorb invisible ultraviolet radiation and short-wave visible light, then re-emit that energy as longer-wave visible light. This fluorescence can make the pigment appear up to three times brighter than conventional colourants under normal daylight.
The resin matrix protects the dye and provides the mechanical properties required to grind the material into a fine, dispersible fluorescent pigment powder. The powder can be formulated into coatings, plastics, inks and textile applications where visibility and colour impact are critical.
The Manali Manufacturing Advantage
Unlike traders that import inconsistent fluorescent powders from uncontrolled sources, Manali Pigments manufactures 100% of its fluorescent pigments in-house. This Complete Control, Complete Quality approach gives the production team control over resin synthesis, dye incorporation, cooling, crushing and precision milling.
Control over the resin matrix and dye loading supports consistent fluorescence intensity, while cooling, crushing and precision milling support uniform particle size and dispersion. The internal ISO 9001:2015 quality-management system governs production, and STAR EXPORT HOUSE recognition supports international delivery.

Advanced Fluorescent Resin Systems
Thermoplastic Grades — Fluorescent Pigments for Plastics
Thermoplastic fluorescent pigments are formulated in a thermoplastic resin matrix for heat stability during extrusion and injection moulding. They are designed to prevent plate-out and migration in PE, PP, PVC and ABS systems and are suited to safety helmets, traffic cones, high-visibility packaging and injection-moulded safety components.
Thermoset Grades — Fluorescent Pigments for Coatings & Inks
Thermoset fluorescent pigments are formulated in a highly cross-linked resin matrix for solvent resistance. The cross-linking helps prevent resin swelling, dye bleeding and shade migration in solvent-borne industrial paints, aerosol marking paints and solvent-based printing inks. These grades support safety signage, architectural markings and industrial screen printing.
The Fluorescent Color Spectrum
Manali Pigments offers 19 distinct daylight fluorescent pigment shades, ranging from Brilliant Yellow and Super Yellow through Golden Yellow, Fire Orange, Red, Pink, Magenta, Blue and Violet. Custom colour matching and shade adjustments are available for bulk orders requiring specific fluorescence characteristics.

Industry Applications: Safety & High Visibility
Daylight fluorescent pigments are selected wherever extreme visibility and immediate visual impact are critical. In industrial safety equipment, they provide intense brightness for traffic cones, safety helmets, high-visibility vests and barricade tape. In safety and warning signage, thermoset grades provide solvent-resistant fluorescent coatings for road signs, construction markers and emergency indicators. In aerosol spray paints, they support utility locating, forestry marking and construction layout. In packaging and advertising inks, they create strong shelf impact. In specialized textile printing, they support sportswear, promotional apparel and safety garments.

Global Demand & Fluorescent Market Trends
Demand for fluorescent pigment powder is supported by occupational-safety requirements for high-visibility personal protective equipment and traffic-management devices. The move toward thermoset grades that withstand aggressive industrial solvents without bleeding is also creating demand for higher-performance systems. Manali Pigments exports daylight fluorescent pigment powder to more than 15 countries, including the USA, Mexico, Brazil, Turkey and the UAE.

Frequently Asked Questions
Daylight fluorescent pigments require an external light source to fluoresce. They absorb UV radiation and re-emit it as bright visible light during the day. Glow-in-the-dark or phosphorescent pigments store light energy and release an afterglow in darkness. The two technologies serve different applications.
Yes. Thermoset grades use a highly cross-linked resin matrix that supports solvent resistance and helps prevent dye bleeding, shade migration and resin swelling in solvent-borne paints, aerosol sprays and solvent-based printing inks.
Fluorescent pigment powder is used in industrial safety equipment, traffic cones, safety helmets, high-visibility vests, warning signage, aerosol marking paints, packaging and advertising inks, and specialized textile printing.
Fluorescent colorants generally have lower lightfastness than conventional inorganic pigments because of the fluorescent dye molecules. Manali formulates its systems with UV absorbers and stabilizers to maximize outdoor durability; thermoset grades with enhanced UV protection may be recommended for exterior applications.
Manali Pigments manufactures fluorescent pigments in-house, controlling resin matrix composition, dye incorporation, particle size distribution and fluorescence intensity. This supports batch-to-batch consistency in shade, brightness and dispersion.
Yes. Thermoplastic grades are engineered for heat stability during extrusion and injection moulding and are designed to prevent degradation, plate-out and fluorescence loss in PE, PP, PVC and ABS systems.
